Special Needs:- Please inform the Museum as soon as possible regarding your group’s special needs. The Wisconsin Maritime Museum is fully accessible and has a small number of wheelchairs available to those who require use of them. Please let us know in advance if your group wishes to reserve these.
- Having been designated a National Historic Landmark, the USS Cobia has been restored as closely as possible to its original World War II design in order to accurately preserve this important time in United States history. Because of this, the USS Cobia is not accessible by wheelchair. We do, however, have a video of the submarine tour that we would be happy to share with those who are unable to tour the submarine due to limited mobility. Please notify the Museum in advance if you wish to see this video.
Museum Store:- We also invite your group to visit Pier 75, our Museum Store. It is conveniently located beside the reception desk at the front of the Museum. Pier 75 is stocked with a wide variety of unique maritime treasures which make for excellent souvenirs of your visit.
Once again, thank you for planning your visit with the Wisconsin Maritime Museum. We are looking forward to serving your group! |
